Frequently Asked Questions.

What conventions will you be at this year?

The best way to keep up with our conventions is to check our pinned Instagram post @nerdzilly.dice

You have a physical store?!

Yes indeedy! You can find me at Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment in Studio 119. We are open Thursday-Saturday 12-6pm.

What’s included in One-Shot Saturday?

Good question, most One-Shot Saturdays will include the following:

  • Use of the shop’s dice trays and dice set

  • Pre-gen character or instructions for character creation

  • 3-5 hour one-shot provided by a professional DM with almost 20 years experience

  • Digital maps

  • Ambient music

  • Miniatures if applicable

  • Props if applicable

Why should I pay to play D&D?

I know this is a sticky topic for some people. However, paying to play D&D actually has a lot of benefits:

  • Quality Experience: We provide everything you need to play, even dice if you don’t have any!

  • Professional DMs: Sessions are run by an experienced Dungeon Master who are skilled at creating engaging and immersive adventures.

  • Convenience: We handle all the logistics! Organizing players? Schedules? Creating characters? Remembering everything you need to bring? We got it covered!

  • Structured Play: We try to provide a more coherent narrative experience and provide you with the ability to tell a well-crafted story.

  • Access to Resources: Maps, miniatures, music, lights, and so much more! I have spent a lot of money to curate an expansive ttrpg table and all the extra bits and bobs so you don’t have to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars. (Don’t tell my husband.)

  • Community and Networking: Coming to a session allows you to meet like-minded individuals who share a passion for ttrpgs! This can lead to new friendships, networking opportunities, and even potential collaborations beyond the game itself.

  • Themed and Specialized Games: Halloween One-Shots, Pirate Day Adventures, Teatime Cozy Afternoons … themes are totally my thing! I also offer specialized games for birthdays, date nights, a proposal, and more!

  • Reduced Commitment: We have flexible scheduling with multiple events each month and at different times. Join in for a fun Saturday now and again.

  • Supporting Creators (Me!): You’re supporting my passion for D&D (and all things ttrpg) as well as those who help me to create enjoyable and memorable gaming experiences! You are also providing me the means to share that passion with others and grow our amazing nerdy community!

Your online shop is empty! When can I buy dice?

Our shop drops are dependent upon stock for conventions and the studio. I try to keep the shop updated, but if you are looking for something specific send me an email!

When are you opening the online shop again?

If the shop says “Closed” it means I am at a Convention or Event and will re-open once it is over and I can go through dice inventory. There is usually a message along with the “Closed” notice.

Awesome. How do sales work anyways?

If I have a special going, it will be posted on my Instagram, Facebook, and the Newsletter when those dates will be.

What is the return/refund policy?

As these are handmade dice, I do not offer returns or refunds. However, I will offer a replacement for any dice that arrive damaged beyond use. Please contact me within 24 hours of delivery with photos of both the package and the dice themselves.

What is your shipping policy?

Already made sets are shipped out within 10-14 days. A tracking number will be provided. Custom commissions can take up to 3 months. Shipping is $5 in the US and $15 for International.
